Komachi grew up in Oinaka, a small fictional town in the countryside of the Kanagawa Prefecture, and still visits her family in her hometown in summer and winter. She is usually seen along with Naoko, who is both her colleague and best friend. Komachi is appointed within the Transport Department of the Katsushika Police Headquarters. Is a female police officer from the Japanese anime series KochiKame, by Osamu Akimoto.
